How do I sign up for experiments?
After registering, you will receive email notifications when upcoming experiments are scheduled. Instructions for signing up, as well as time and location, will be provided in the email.

Am I guaranteed a slot in an experimental session if I receive the email?
No, signups for experiments are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

I forgot my password, what can I do?
You can reset your password through the website.

How will I be compensated for participation?
Typically you will be paid in cash at the end of the session. We do not give out department course credits. Exceptions will be spelled out clearly in the email notifications.

I have signed up, how do I find more information about the experiment?
You can use the My Experiments tab from the Subject Menu. You will see a list of the experiments that you have signed up for. You can click on the links to the experiments to obtain more information, or to cancel your participation in the experiment.

I signed up for an experiment but now cannot come, what should I do?
See previous. Note, excessive no-shows will result in you being removed from the database.

Where are the experiments located?
Most of the experiments are located in the computer labs in the basement of the Foreign Language Building. You should check the email notification for the actual location and room number.

What do I need to bring to the experiment?
You will need a valid student or government ID to be eligible to receive payment. A pen is also useful.

What if I am late?
You should aim to arrive at the experiment 5-10 min prior to the scheduled starting time. We will not be able to accommodate late arrivals once the experiment has started.

The experiment is full, can I standby?
Yes, but we will not be able to pay you if all registered participants arrive.
